OUTDOOR CLASSES

Use the 43rd Street entrance to the school yard at the corner of Salem Street (between San Pablo & Adeline Avenues) -- Use the address: 1075 43rd St, Emeryville, CA 94608

Masks are optional for outdoor classes.

Bring multiple footwear options to find out what works for you including socks and shoes! We are finding that light colored slightly thicker socks work best (black socks can get quite warm).
There is a restroom and sink available outside. Bring water and snacks as you need. The dance space is in full sun, so consider your needs around sunscreen, hats, glasses and clothing.

REGISTRATION: Sign up ahead for all classes online, in-person and outdoors at Union.fit through 4/30/24. On 5/1/24 we will be using a new registration system (see above for details). For online classes, you can purchase a pass/single class and join the class up through 5 minutes past the class start time. For in-person classes, you must purchase 30 minutes or more ahead of the start time.

LATE ARRIVAL: Your place in class will be held for 10 minutes into class time. After 10 minutes, your spot will be given to someone on the waitlist. In an effort to prevent injury and to not disrupt other students or the teacher, students are not admitted after 15 minutes into class time.

PLEASE - if you enroll for an in-person class and cannot attend, please cancel 30 minutes or more in Union.fit to have the class credited to your account. If you are having any symptoms that could possibly be related to COVID-19, please do NOT attend class.
Online Classes: to attend online, login at Union.fit and go to My Account (upper right corner) and select Registrations. The link next to the class you are attending will change to "Visit External URL" 5 minutes before the class start time. Click the link to join the Zoom class.

Studio 1=16-20 students
Studios 2-4 =12-14 students
BANDALOOP Studios = 25-30 students
Shotgun Studios = 18-25 students
East Bay German School = 40 students

Masks: we have updated our mask policy. Masks are now optional in most classes. A few teachers are still masking. Please review the mask policy here.
Sanitize hands at the door: we still have sanitizer at the door. We ask everyone to sanitize their hands at the building entrance.

Vaccines: We no longer check vaccine status. We are staying informed of changes to the law, state guidelines, City of Berkeley requirements and the scientific knowledge available so that we may provide the safest environment we can for everyone. Windows/doors/air purifiers: We are operating all air purifiers and some teachers may open windows or doors. Please do not turn air purifiers off or down since these are for COVID safety.
