SUMMER 2021

Join us for summer camps...in-person! Dive back into your favorite dance styles with these focused, week-long intensives. With safety precautions in place, SADC has planned a summer of community and movement that does not take place in your living room. Come have fun with us as we sweat it out and get our bearings!

SADC is following city, county, and state guidelines for Covid-19 safety, including greatly limiting the number of students in attendance to 10-12 depending on which studio. If a camp is full, we encourage you to join the waitlist as we may be able to open more spots as the dates approach. Additionally, please also note all students and teachers will be dancing in masks, and all teachers and staff will be vaccinated. More details on health precautions to follow for youth specifically, see our current safety policies here. Info on registration, payment, scholarships, and refunds below.

*If a camp or class is full, please email Tanya at tanya@shawl-anderson.org to get on the waitlist*

Registration, Payments, Scholarships, and Refunds

To secure your spot in a summer camp or intensive, families should register and pay for the camp, or put down a deposit and complete the scholarship form. Need-based scholarships are available for each camp/intensive.

To register, log in through the SADC Online Portal (button at top of homepage) by signing into your account or making an account. Once inside, click on the Youth Registration tab and select the camps desired.

If you need to drop out of a camp for any reason, a refund less the $25 registration fee is available if you notify us at least two weeks prior to the camp start date (e.g., if a camp begins June 28th, we must receive notice from you on or before June 14th to be eligible for a partial refund). For drops less than two weeks prior to the start of a camp, no refund is available.

In the unlikely event that a new shelter-in-place order is mandated, all camps will be offered online. Online camps will include dance classes and possible additional activities such as video screenings, writing, and art activities (supplies will be sent to your home).

All camps will be offered in person or online. If camps and intensives must be offered online, refunds will not be issued. Please consider these details as you sign up and pay for your spot in a camp.

If you have a medical issue or family emergency that impacts your child/teen’s participation, please reach out to us so that we can provide an exception to this refund policy. Contact Rebecca Johnson, Executive Director, rebecca@shawl-anderson.org.
