This class is an exploratory movement class that enmeshes Isabel's education and practice of somatic therapy and her rich career in dance. All levels welcome! Using sensorial and imagery-based verbal cues, we begin to let go into the immense capabilities of our physical bodies as our senses are enlivened and integrated with our imagination and creative potential. Isabel takes inspiration from Gaga, Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy (BCST), Qi Gong, Feldenkrais and Physical Therapy. There are many overlaps in these disparate modalities, and all offer something very important.

By settling into our bodies through movement and sensation, we start to notice how our brain reflects back thought, emotion, memories and messages. All of those reflections, aspects of the Self, can be witnessed, have meaning and can be understood. You may leave class having shed a layer of protection or having found new meaning to a problem within. You may leave class feeling supported by your fellow community of participants. You will leave class feeling settled yet enlivened, more connected to your Self, empowered, juicy, and satisfied.

In Person limit is 18 students.

Note: Workshops are non-refundable.
